Wednesday’s Style – Styling your Early-Fall Photo Shoot – Ladies Edition
Now that the weather is feeling a bit crisp, it’s time to start thinking about your Fall-time family photo shoot. There are so many fun ideas for locations, but once you’ve nailed that down, it’s time to start thinking about what to wear.
Today we’re focusing on the ladies in the family. There are so many great outfit options out there and with Fall weather, the trick is to layer. Sweaters are always an easy option. You can pair a chunky, soft sweater with a crisp white or chambray button-down for a layered effect. Play around with the bottoms – this can easily go with a pair of skinny jeans and booties or a knee-length skirt, dark tights and boots.
If you want to layer in a different way, try a dress with a long, colorful scarf in deep, rich tones. If a dress isn’t your thing, a simple knit top paired with jeans or leggings also looks great with a chunky scarf.
Hair should be kept natural. If you don’t want to keep it down, try a messy topknot or a casual ponytail or braid. Whatever you do, have fun taking your pictures – it will shine through on film.
