Halloween is always such a fun time of year. What kid doesn’t love free candy? Getting the most out of the holiday means taking some memory-making photos of your kids in their costumes and amongst the pumpkins. But this year, think beyond the pumpkin patch and try some of these inspiring photo shoot ideas.
I love this idea of using props and signage for your photos. The signs can say things like “Boo”, “Trick of Treat” and more. You can also play around with different hats, masks and ears. Be creative and have fun with it.
Utilize different outdoor locations. Pumpkin patches are always fun – but everybody does that! How about a corn maze, apple orchard or even a great big pile of leaves? You can even do a before and after shot with the leaves – your kids will have a ball jumping through them.
The most important thing is to enjoy it and let your kids have fun with it. They’re only small once so capturing these memories are more precious than making it too perfect.
