Family Day, Bloom Fine Art Group | Vancouver, Langley Family Photographer
I’m so excited! I’ve joined a fine art group through The Bloom Forum – titled “a Creative Discovery” – and this is my very first post. I didn’t get off to a great start as I already missed January, but I do promise to commit for the remainder of the year. I’ve seen others participate in photo circles and I LOVE travelling from one blog to the next drooling over some amazing work – and I’m just thrilled to be a part of this group and to learn and grow this year as an artist. This year I’m going to discover my own life (creatively of course), and the things that make me happy on a monthly basis. So please do check back each month to see what I’ve, and others in my group have to share. Here goes:
We had our first official Family Day in British Columbia last week, another stat holiday for kids to enjoy off school! We took advantage of the day to head up to Hemlock Mountain with our extended family. It’s a great local mountain and they’ve got a tube park. After a few tears and a lot of convincing, our little girl couldn’t be torn away from the park. She LOVED it! The kids loved playing, exploring, and eating the snow. There’s nothing better than seeing the pure joy on a child’s face as they are free to play and be kids. Best family day!
Please be sure to check out January Skye Photography, Melbourne‘s post today and continue from there to see some of the other amazing work in this circle. Enjoy! And hope you come back next month.
