Wednesday’s Style – New Year’s Eve Fashion | Vancouver Family Photographer
New Year’s Eve can be greatly overhyped – don’t you think? But whether you’re going out on the town, having a casual dinner with the kids or just staying home to watch the ball drop, here are some wardrobe ideas for wherever you may be when the clock strikes 12. And don’t forget to take some pictures to commemorate the start of 2015!
If you decide to go for a big night out on the town – go all out. New Year’s is about glitz and glam, so go for the gold. Whether it’s an entire dress or accessories like a bag or shoes, you can’t go wrong with a little bling. Besides, how many days out of the year can you really get away with it?
If you’re heading to a family-friendly dinner or party, there’s no reason to not do something festive – but maybe just don’t go all-out glam! Pops of sparkle with a dressy scarf, statement necklace or even a belt can really go a long way. Kids can get in on the festivities too. As for your husband, perhaps a pair of bright socks or hat.
Now, if the family is staying in, ordering takeout and watching a movie, there’s only one way to go – pajamas! Get cozy and comfortable and ring in the new year in the best spot of all – your couch!
