Happy New Year! It’s 2015 and the holiday rush is officially over. Although you probably want to relax a bit, here are some fun activities around the Vancouver area to check out next weekend.

In the Mood for a Melody, Orpheum Theatre

Get a little culture by taking in a performance of The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s Pops series. Pops conductor Jonathan Tessero and the VSO will present a swingin’ concert featuring arrangements of the greatest soul music with selections including songs from Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Neil Diamond, and more. Give the kids a musical lesson they’ll really enjoy.
