Sunday’s Showcase – What to do in the Vancouver Area – Vancouver Family Photographer
Next weekend is the first in December. If your calendar isn’t already jam-packed with end-of-year and holiday-themed events, here are some more family-friendly ideas to add to your list. Enjoy the season!
Bright Nights Christmas Train in Stanley Park
The holiday train returns to Stanley Park. Featuring over three million twinkling lights, the park and plaza have never shone brighter. Ride the train to get an up-close view of all of the beautiful light displays and watch live performers along the train route. It’s the perfect family holiday activity!
Take a magical flight with Santa to the North Pole at this festive event. Journey over Canada and make your way to Santa’s home town with FlyOver Canada. In addition to this fun ride, the free outdoor Christmas plaza will feature decorations, lights, music, festive food and much more.
Festival Of Trees In Support of BC Children’s Hospital
Visit the Four Seasons Hotel for a truly meaningful holiday display. Now in its 29th year, the Festival of Trees transforms the hotel’s lobby into a forest of decorated trees, all to support the amazing work of the BC Children’s Hospital. The festival has also expanded to include the main area of Pacific Centre Mall. Take a look and prepare to be dazzled.
Vancouver Christmas Market
Looking for that special gift? Head over to the Vancouver Christmas Market where you’ll find a wide selection of vendors for all of your shopping needs. The family-friendly atmosphere is the perfect place to get into the spirit of the season. There will be plenty of food and drink, live music, special kids activities, as well as many holiday gifts perfect for everyone on your list.
