Sunday’s Showcase – Maximize Outdoor Time – Vancouver Family Photographer
Making the most of your time outside is key during the summer. After all, winter will be here before we know it! Here are some ways to get the most out of the outdoors before the temperatures start heading down. Let’s hope it’s not for months since summer took so long to get here this year.
Eat Al Fresco – eating meals outside can be so peaceful and relaxing. So don’t save the outdoor meals just for when company comes over. Eat breakfast outside, have a mid-day snack in the yard, take your morning coffee on the porch. Savoring these moments can help refresh you for the rest of your day.
Family Movie Night – there are hardly any drive-in movies left these days. So set one up in your own backyard. You can rent a projector and large screen from the library, or even just a white sheet will do. Set up some chairs or blankets, gather up the snacks and settle in for a night watching the movies under the stars.
S’mores Bar – Nowadays, portable fire pits are easy to come by and fairly inexpensive. After sharing a nice dinner outdoors, save room for dessert. Light a nice fire and gather up marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers and all the fixings to create delicious s’mores. And when the weather turns cooler, you can still utilize the fire pit on chilly nights.
