Wednesday’s Style – Holiday Photo Shoot – Vancouver Family Portraits
December is here and with that, so is the holiday season. If you haven’t done so already, it’s time to start thinking about your holiday cards. It’s too late for me to help you capture your portraits for this Christmas… but you can get creative on your own. Here are some fun and easy ideas and inspiration for your family’s holiday cards.
A banner is always a fun prop for a shoot. You can make one and have it spell out anything you like – “Joy” is one of the easiest ones to make!
A really creative idea is to find a backdrop such as a brick wall and draw on it in chalk. You can make a Christmas tree, Santa, candy canes or even just write out your names. Have fun with it and let your imagination go.
One of the simplest things to do is grab a string of lights before placing them on your tree and use them in your photos. Instant holiday classic.
If you’re feeling particularly brave, why not have everyone wear their favorite holiday pajamas? As long as you have a sense of humor about it, the fun you’re having will shine through in your photos.
Whatever you choose, enjoy your holiday photos, they will become treasured memories for years to come.
