17th Vancouver International Tap Festival
Next weekend, the 17th Vancouver International Tap Festival takes place at the Norman Rothstein Theatre. It’s the perfect opportunity for young dancers to see some of the best in the business. There will be presentations of two amazing shows, “Tap Masters,” and “And Still You Must Swing.” Encompassing dynamic choreography and amazing music, the tap festival will delight audiences young and old.
TAIWANfest
Get to know more about a different culture at TAIWANfest. The festival returns to Granville Street with a fun lineup of activities including talks, games, food and more! Experience the Friendship Picnic which aims to grow new friendships over that universal item – food. The organizers will also be collecting shoes to benefit kids in Kenya who do not have proper footwear.
12th Annual Corn Festival
The Corn Festival celebrates the best of Latin America right here in Vancouver. Taking place at the Britannia Community Centre, join in the community’s annual corn harvest fiesta. There will be plenty of delicious food music, dancing and so much more. This family-friendly event presented by the Canada El Salvador Action Network is free to attend!
Fair at the PNE
Next weekend is the last to check out the Fair at the PNE and celebrate the end of a great summer. The fair promises more than 30 nightly concerts, performances, exhibits, food, games and more than 50 dazzling rides and attractions. Send the kids back to school b ending a memorable summer at the fair.
