All Nations Festival
This is the inaugural year of the All Nations Festival. Celebrating the Coast Salish culture, the festival will include dozens of family-friendly events including a Dragonfly Kids’ Market, Green Fair & Artisan Market, Food Trucks, outdoor music stages and fireworks. The festival takes place through Saturday, July 25th.
Honda Celebration of Light
Next Saturday kicks off the 25th anniversary of the Honda Celebration of Light. The first team to present their stunning array of fireworks displays is Team China. There will also be presentations from Team Brazil and Tram Canada later in the month and in August. This free event kicks off at 10pm along English Bay and Sunset Beach. But be sure to get there early for a prime viewing spot – last year’s event attracted over 400,000 spectators!
Theatre Under the Stars – Oliver!
Head over to the Malkin Bowl at Stanley Park to see Theatre Under The Stars Musical Society’s production of Oliver! This family-friendly musical is the perfect introduction for kids into musical theatre.
Picnic in the Park
Celebrate Pride Week at the family-friendly Picnic in the Park, Saturday the 25th from 10am – 6pm. There will be games that the whole family can participate in like tug-of-war, drag races and volleyball tournaments. Guests can also enjoy music by local DJ’s, food and much more.
