Next weekend is the first in April as well as Easter weekend. Here’s hoping for some beautiful weather to really go out and enjoy the Springtime!
7th Annual Great A-Mazing Egg Hunt at VanDusen Garden
What better way to celebrate the holiday than with an egg hunt? Children 2 to 12 can participate in the 7th annual Great A-Mazing Egg Hunt at VanDusen Botanical Garden on April 4th and 5th. In addition to the hunt, there will be animals at the CinemaZoo exhibit, kids can decorate a clay pot and plant carrots to take home, meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy chocolate treats and more! Space is limited so be sure to reserve tickets.
Gulf of Georgia Cannery Farmers’ Market
Need something special to bring to Easter dinner? Before heading there, check out the goodies at the new Cannery Farmers’ Market. A variety of vendors will be selling an array of fresh food products, following the “make it, bake it, catch it, grow it” credo.
Stanley Park Easter Train
Head over to Stanley Park and hop aboard the Easter Train! While there, kids can also participate in an egg hunt (be sure to bring your own basket), check out a variety of craft workshops, games, face painting and more!
Easter Fair at the Surrey Museum
The Surrey Museum is hosting an Easter fair! In addition to crafts, games, scavenger hunt and more, kids can learn all about the real Easter bunny while discovering local wildlife and rescue animals. A number of animal organizations will be represented at the fair.
