5 Minute Project – NAPCP Retreat | Vancouver Family Portrait Photographer, Langley Photographer
You might say I’m a workshop junkie. There’s something about getting together with a group of like minded individuals and having a really amazing time learning, networking, socializing, and much more. In January, I attended the NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) retreat in Whistler, BC. It was practically in my own backyard… had to attend. One of the break out sessions was with the amazing Dana Pugh of Alberta. She had us do an assignment called The Five Minute Project. Basically, she asked us to take pictures (documentary style) for five minutes, cull only the best, and share them with the group. WOW! Honestly… loved it. Here’s what I captured of sweet little Vera playing in her crib. My takeaway, don’t overthink when the best time to take pictures is. Anytime is the right time when it comes to your family.
